Budget Recipes, Freezer Cooking and how to plant a vegetable garden. I am not a foodie. I do have an honest, deep appreciation for the talents of those who just KNOW how to put together beautiful and interesting meals. This section of the blog is more for people who struggle to make ends-meet and find themselves with empty fridges from time-to-time. Last year, after the umpteenth time of opening the fridge to find NOTHING {due to financial problems, and finally putting the foot down on debt}, I started thinking differently about the way I plan meals and grocery shopping in the times we do have money to do so. Being a low-skilled cook, I tried freezer cooking for the first time and found it made a huge difference! We are also keen to live a healthier life, so recipes posted here will lean towards healthy when possible.

Cooking for two is strange because of the odd quantities of things you need to make recipes.
